      <image:title>About (Copy)</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a sculptor who creates both large, modular, site-specific installations and smaller sculptures, sizes range from up to 5 meters in height to an object you can hold in one hand. I have a feminist practice and I am a self-taught welder who primarily works with steel. Sculpture is constructed by me in my home studio. My art draws reference from the geometry found within mid-century design, encompassing, architecture, interior design and the domestic. Childhood memories of my father working as a draftsman during the 60s and 70s, and his constant work over decades as a furniture designer and maker also inform my art practice. Many of my sculptural works engage a feminist critique to explore and challenge the histories of women whose work has been marginalised or erased from these related narratives. Some of my smaller works take their inspiration from fragments of design that become abstracted when removed from original context.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Tracey Lamb acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional owners of the unseeded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation where she lives. My sculpture is informed by architecture and design. I fabricate objects with a combination of intuition and intent, cutting and arranging forms, working with the positive and the negative space to create each piece. I work with abstracted geometries to create a series of dynamic forms with intent to investigate the narrative properties of an imagined architecture. The works are arranged to invite the viewer to reflect on layered spatial perspectives and experiences. I frequently make work that questions cultural biases around gender and space.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Studio portrait</image:title>
<image:caption>Growing up in suburban Naarm/Melbourne Tracey has been informed by her father’s work as a furniture maker and architectural draftsman. As a child, her parents embraced modern design which remains as an inherent informant to her own love of design and architecture. Her works are often site-specific and range from 5 meters high to jewellery scale. Tracey also creates works on paper using gouache, ink, acrylics and carbon paper and uses photography to interrogate aspects of architecture and design. Tracey uses her playful aesthetic to develop sculptural programs and workshops for children in places such as TarraWarra Museum of Art and MUMA, Monash University, Montsalvat, as well as various schools. Tracey holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Monash University and an Honours degree from the Victorian College of the Arts.</image:caption>
